WWE Hell in a Cell: 13 Reasons Why the Results of Satan's Structure Worked

Last Sunday was WWE's latest pay-per-view, Hell in a Cell.

As part of my ongoing series of "13 Reasons" done after each PPV, I will provide 13 reasons why the results were right for the business, even if they weren't.

I will make this as insightful as I can and at the end would like to hear your thoughts in the comment section below.

"Well, why did the PPV work?"

Read on to find out.

These are 13 reasons why the night in Satan's Structure was correctly portrayed by everyone who partook in the Demon's Playground.

The Voice of the Voiceless Was Unable to Speak

CM Punk had finally received his rematch that he hadn't received after losing the WWE championship unfairly.

Was he going to win his belt back?

If he was, he would've had to survive a triple threat Hell in a Cell involving two other stars known only as John Cena and Alberto Del Rio.

Heading in it seemed possible because it was being rumored that at Vengeance CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio would be feuding heading into the show for the WWE championship and one of those men would be the WWE champion at that time.

But was it going to be CM Punk or Alberto Del Rio who walked in at Vengeance as champion?

Here's a hint: The voice of the voiceless was shut by destiny.

The Conspiracy Lives

The Awesome Truth, who were fired, made a special guest appearance.

They appeared at the end of the show and attacked everyone inside the cell after it was slightly lifted up.

It was then lowered down as the Awesome Truth caused havoc only to surrender once the security got involved.

If anything, this showed that the conspiracy that CM Punk talked about is still going on and the people who were being conspired against in the Miz and R-Truth are now trying to fight the system for being victims of a company-wide conspiracy.

The conspiracy lives and it is all at the expense of the COO in Triple H.

Christian Doesn't Get 1 More Match

Christian versus Sheamus was a battle for the No. 1 contendership for the World Heavyweight championship.

Christian had asked for one more match but Sheamus also wanted a shot.

Theodore Long, being the intellectual manager that he is, decided to make a match between Sheamus and Christian at Hell in a Cell.

Was Christian going to get "one more match"?

Nope.

He lost and his slowly declining push seems to keep on continuing as this match proved after he lost cleanly.

The Doom Is True for the Divas

It took long enough but Beth Phoenix finally lived up to her billing as a "Diva of Doom."

She finally defeated the 'blonde bimbo' and took away the Divas championship from her.

She needed the win and got it.

Now it's time for the domination that we have been promised from the beginning to begin, unless the Divas of Doom get "rolled-up" again for the fifth(?) time.

Air Boom Causes Trouble in Paradise for Vickie Guerrero's Clients

The Tag Team champions in Air Boom were heading in as champions and were planned to face Vickie Guerrero's clients.

As clients with Vickie Guerrero and an apparently higher ceiling, Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler seemed like the next Tag Team champions once the night ended, but Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne would defend the belts with their high-flying arsenal by putting up a fight.

Air Boom persevered and defended the belts successfully, making us believe that it's quite possible that the WWE may slowly try to revive the Tag Team division again, one tag team at a time.

With Air boom becoming the face of the WWE tag team division.

Mark Henry's Hall of Pain Reinstates a Member

Just a few weeks ago, Mark Henry defeated Randy Orton to become the World Heavyweight champion.

Would it happen again?

It seemed unlikely because Randy Orton rarely loses a lot of matches, but throughout the Hell in a Cell match at Hell in a Cell he was dominated by the dominant champion.

He lost to a World's Strongest Slam by the World's Strongest Man and the Hall of Pain reinstated a member who had already been added a few weeks ago.

Add Randy Orton twice to the list because he failed to take the World Heavyweight championship from Mark Henry but at least Randy Orton kept his venom.

Randy Orton Still Has His Bite

Randy Orton lost his championship match at Hell in a Cell and didn't regain the World Heavyweight championship, but at the end of the night he showed that he still had some fight left in him.

As Mark Henry was getting ready to "break" his leg as he has done with the Big Show, Kane, Great Khali and Vladimir Koslov, Randy Orton moved his leg out of the way. He avoided getting squashed in the process and immediately started attacking the World Heavyweight champion.

He attacked him with the chair that was going to be used to "break" his leg and sent the World Heavyweight champion on his way.

Randy Orton left out on top, showing us all that the Viper still has his bite with him.

Sheamus Is Becoming Dominant Again

Remember when Sheamus was the WWE champion and a monster heel?

Then he slowly dropped to the mid card and eventually turned face?

Now he's dominating again.

He's slowly becoming a dominant face and is enjoying a run in the main event with a possible World Heavyweight championship coming in his way.

Cody Rhodes Declares the Old Intercontinetal Championship Undashing

At Hell in a Cell, Cody Rhodes brought back the old Intercontinental championship after putting the recent one in a paper bag.

He said that he was going to bring back prestige to the Intercontinental championship, something I questioned before in an older article, by going to the championships roots.

He wanted his name to be recognized amongst the greats who all, coincidentally, held the Intercontinental championship with its retro and not recent design.

Which is why he changed the design.

He wanted to revive the Intercontinental championship's prestige and this change at Hell in a Cell made it one step closer for Rhodes to achieve his goal.

John Morrison Has Been Locked Out of the Palace of Wisdom

Ever since his return, John Morrison seems to have gotten depushed instead of repushed.

At Hell in a Cell, it seemed like it was all going to end once he challenged Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental championship.

It didn't.

Apparently, this seems like the end for him as he just can't seem to revive his once illustrious spot on the main card of Raw.

I could go on and on about this but an article by fellow writer, Rize, explains things just a bit better.

The Face of the Faceless Is the Blue Power Ranger

Heading into the show, there were two Sin Caras fighting for the privilege of being called the real Sin Cara.

After questioning the impostor, Sin Cara black or Sin Cara blue would be the real Sin Cara after the PPV ended.

Through a lackluster performance, the original Sin Cara ended up winning and wherever this feud goes next is still up for grabs.

John Cena Survived Hell

But he lost his championship.

He survived Hell in a Cell, though, because he was not pinned and he had a valid excuse for him not being able to regain the championship.

He was locked out of the cell.

He wasn't able to break in and his championship run had ended after two weeks.

But at the end of the day, the champ did what he said, he survived Hell...in a Cell.

Alberto Del Rio's Destiny Is Revived?

"It is my destiny, but you......you already know that!"

We had heard it so many times before and it was finally fulfilled at SummerSlam. 

But it was quickly ended at Night of Champions.

Now it was revived at Hell in a Cell.

Alberto Del Rio is the new WWE champion, and hopefully this time he can have a decent reign instead of a less than stellar reign.
