Aston Villa's Contribution to England's National Team
Poor old Martin O'Neill doesn't have a star studded lineup to choose from, yet he manages to keep Aston Villa in touching distance of England's elite—the mighty "Top Four".
Aston Villa stunned the world and perhaps most importantly, shell-shocked Arsenal with a 2-0 away victory over the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium, thus proving that they have the quality and the talent to compete against the "big boys" and if given time, they should develop their side in Gareth Barry's words "to compete in the Champions League"
If Aston Villa's squad is investigated, you would find certain stars of the future including Villa's hot-shot English duo of Ashley Young and Gabriel Agbonlahor.

The Villans recently purchased James Milner from Newcastle United and Milner appears to be an energetic right midfielder.
The other Young at Villa Park is Luke Young, the ex-Charlton skipper displayed his skills at Tee-side before sealing a move to Aston Villa.
On the other side of the defense is Nicky Shorey, who joined Aston Villa from Reading, the left-back can be a capable competitor to Chelsea's duo of Wayne Bridge and Ashley Cole for an England place.
Curtis Davies, if you watched Aston Villa's 2-0 win against Arsenal, you would have seen Davies' exceptional defensive qualities and he is another prominent part of the team.
Gareth Barry needs no introduction, he almost secured a move to Liverpool but the Villans have managed to hang on to their man. Barry is absolutely brilliant in midfield and both Steve Sidwell and Nigel Reo-Coker are equally capable of pulling the strings in midfield.
There you have it, from Young to Agbonlahor to Milner, lads who've proved themselves on the England U-21 stage and can break into the national side alongside the likes of Gareth Barry.
Aston Villa are moulding the stars of tomorrow and England should make full advantage of them because in Martin O'Neill's words "We will continue to groom local lads for the future like Delfouneso and Osbourne"
