No matter how good or bad or new Lesnar is in the sport, he generates more money and hype than anybody else.
He Brings in More Fans
2 of 5The reason Lesnar fights do so well is because of the amount of fans he brings to the fights.
Lesnar was a former WWE heavyweight champion who left the sport to pursue other things.
After failing at pro football and a brief stint in Japan, Lesnar chose to try out MMA.
Thanks to the personality Lesnar can portray, he also brings in fans that hope to see him lose.

3 of 5Lesnar can come off as a guy who seems like he’s above everybody and make some unfavorable comments.
But the former heavyweight champ is actually a respectful guy who tends to stay out of the public’s eye.
Lesnar may not be the media’s best friend because he’s so reclusive, but he doesn’t bring any bad publicity to MMA either.
He Makes the Heavyweight Division Interesting
4 of 5Because Lesnar is such a big name, he’s always one fight away from a title shot.
He’s also one of the biggest targets of other fighters. Many heavyweights want a crack at the former champ including Brendan Schaub and Antonio Rogerio Nogeuira.
Thanks to Lesnar only having seven MMA bouts, two with Frank Mir, there are plenty of potential bouts for Lesnar in the future.
He Keeps People Talking
5 of 5Whether he’s giving a controversial post-fight interview, shown in camouflage hunting or staring down WWE’s Undertaker after a loss, no matter what Lesnar does, he keeps people talking.
Lesnar’s not always in the public spotlight. But when he is, people pay attention.
Any small rumor about Lesnar usually turns out to be big speculation by many sports fans and reporters alike.
