Will the Philadelphia Phillies Win 100 or More Games in 2011?
The Philadelphia Phillies are currently on pace to finish with a record of 102-60 for the 2011 season.
On the up side for the Phillies, they typically are a second half team and over the past few seasons have had struggled in the month of June. In 2011, that hasn't been the case.
At the end of May, the Phillies were 34-21, they are currently 51-30, giving them a 17-9 record for the month of June going into the final game against the Boston Red Sox.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
As July and August approach, look for the Phillies bats to heat up and their record to continually improve. Domonic Brown looks to be getting better everyday and Chase Utley and Shane Victorino continues to swing the bat well.
Cliff Lee, Cole Hamels and Roy Halladay are all on pace to win over 18 games this season and with Vance Worley continuing to improve the Phillies staff is only going to get better.
The Phillies were able to have a great month of June despite another series of devastating injuries to the pitching staff. Roy Oswalt and Jose Contreras are both expected to miss multiple weeks of action, and closer Ryan Madson was placed on the 15-day DL with a hand contusion.
Joe Blanton and Brad Lidge are both expected to return to the team by the end of July. These means the Phillies could be adding three to five veteran arms to their staff in the next four to six weeks.
If everything happens the way it it has been drawn up and the Phillies can avoid any more injuries, they could easily win over 100 games this season.
Look for Ruben Amaro Jr. to add to the Phillies talent pool before the July trade deadline. A right handed bat is still a much need tool that will help the Phillies compete in October. Hopefully Michael Cuddyer will be wearing Phillies pinstripes in the near future.
