Philadelphia Phillies: It's Time for Domonic Brown To Go Back To Triple-A
Unfortunately for the Philadelphia Phillies, outfield prospect Domonic Brown has proven again that he is not ready to hit major league pitching.
Brown is currently batting .208 with 11 RBI and a .292 OBP in 32 games played. He has become an automatic out as of late, and his aggressiveness on the bases has disappeared. He is currently 2-for-15 with a .133 batting average.
In yesterday's game, Domonic hit a sharp ground ball to the second baseman and decided he was going to trot his way down the base path. Oakland Athletic's Jemile Weeks bobbled the ball and dropped it again a second time. Since Brown decided not to run out the ground ball in a one-run game, he was thrown out by Weeks easily.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
At 23 years old and trying to make an impression on a team to remain an everyday player, this type of attitude should not be tolerated. If a player refuses to run out a ball in a 2-1 games with their pitcher throwing another great game, they do not deserve to play.
The Phillies have several veteran outfielders in Triple-A that would love to get a shot to produce again at the major league level.
Scott Podsednik, Brandon Moss and Delwyn Young are all an option at Triple-A. I would even like to see John Mayberry return. At least we know he will give the Phillies 100 percent when he plays.
The Phillies should see what Scott Podsednik can bring to the table in the major leagues.
Phillies nation wishes Domonic Brown was ready to play everyday, but the fact is he is not. He needs to bust his hump to play at the major league level. You cannot let a slump affect the way you hustle. It's immature and not fair to the rest of your teammates
Brown has proven he is not the solution in right field—at least not right now.
