WWE: R-Truth Wants His Son Back, Riley Beats on Miz and More from Raw
Last night's Raw had its ups and downs in terms of whether or not the segments worked. The opening segment which began with Lawler, transitioned to Hart and then ended with Cena and Miz was well done. It kept my attention better than a 20 minute segment about one guy.
Miz and Riley finally had their falling out, and Riley showed he is not afraid of his former mentor at all. He took Miz apart piece by piece before exiting the ring. I was happy to hear a Riley chant break out because it shows the fans can get behind him.

Kharma's sudden break down in the middle of the ring had everyone confused, including the audience whom chanted, "this is bullshit," during the commercial break following Kharma's breakdown, according to the Pro Wrestling Report website.
R-Truth had one of the better promos of the night with Miz and Cena, with the best line being "I want my son back." His lunacy is leading to some very entertaining television, and I hope WWE keeps the momentum behind him.
CM Punk paid another tribute to Savage by wearing trunks and boots that were straight out of Savage's wardrobe. The Pink trunks with white stars and yellow boots stuck out right away as an homage to Savage. It's great to see guys like Punk who still appreciate the history of the entire business.
Alberto Del Rio and his ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez injured Big Show by running him over with a car. The segment went on too long, but it is clearly setting up a feud between either Del Rio and Kane or Del Rio and Big Show. Its also possible it could be a red herring to have Big Show take some time off.
Nexus now holds the Tag Titles, but it was Michael McGillicutty and David Otunga who won them, not Ryan and Punk. CM Punk helped his stable mates get the win by kicking Big Show in the head before Wight was driven to the mat by a double DDT.
On a sidenote, am I the only one who thinks it's a little odd that Otunga is the longest standing member of Nexus and yet he gets almost no mic time? They need to either get behind these guys or send them packing.
We got to see what could be the beginning of a new Cole. He came out and apologized to Lawler and took his spot back at the announce table. I could be wrong but I think WWE will put evil Cole to rest for a bit. Having a feud that long between commentators was a little ridiculous.
Kofi got a nice win over Drew Mcintyre as well. Kofi was wearing trunks that were designed by a kid who won a contest in WWE Kids Magazine, according to WWE.com, and they were pretty cool looking. Kofi and Drew had a good match with Drew taking it to Kofi's leg. This could be the start of a new US Title feud, but we shall have to wait and see.
Overall last night's show falls into the category of nothing special, but not bad.
I enjoyed most of the segments, but the one I had the problem with was the Kharma crying fit. She is either going to take this storyline to the top or it will tank.
