WWE/TNA Superstars and Youtube: Pro-Wrestlers You Should Be Watching
Bleacher Creatures, you know as well as I do that we are all living in the era of Technological innovations. One of the marvels of this era is social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. For us devoted wrestling fans, we utilize Twitter to legally stalk our favorite pro wrestlers. With every tweet, we would ask our hero in spandex questions and mark out when they tweet back!
Now this may be somewhat surprising, but Youtube is an awesome way for wrestlers to stay connected to their fans. If a wrestler is barely getting any air time, they can utilize Youtube to expand their fan base and attempt to be pushed by their respective promotion, like a certain broski has been doing. It's also a way to interact with your fans visually by showing their day to day life or just fooling around.
So, I have decided to make this slideshow showcasing all the pro wrestlers' Youtube Channels that I know of. There will be some that are known even by casual fan, while there may be some that only the hardcore IWC fans will only know of. If you have a Youtube account, then subscribe to the channels that you like.
So without further adieu.....Sit back, relax and spike your hair...whoo whoo whoo enjoy the videos!
Matt Hardy
1 of 9Matt Hardy is a curious man, and his videos are even more curious. Some of his video are plain weird, which forces me to question his sanity. Other videos are charmingly inspirational, which speak volumes of Matt Hardy Character.
The simple fact of the matter is that with over 190 YouTube videos, it really gives you a glimpse of Matt's life while working for whatever promotion that he was working for while filming. Matt uses YouTube to stay connected to his fans and to get fired from the WWE.Yeah, most of Matt's videos are head scratching at times in my opinion, but he's always entertaining.

Mr. Anderson
2 of 9Mr. Anderson....Anderson's videos are laugh out load, milk squirting out of your noise kind of funny, and I personally once upon a time thought he lacked a well structured funny bone. You see, when Mr. Anderson succumbed to the bite of the Viper and got released from the WWE, he had to wait for 90 days before signing for any promotion or even wrestle.
So instead of moping around like a vengeful wrestler, Anderson decided to film his 90 days in comic episodes. In one episode, he is sitting on his bum playing video games with his dog, while in other videos, he's teaching summer school just to have the days roll by.
These video kept him on the minds of wrestling fans, as released WWE wrestlers have a nasty habit of being forgotten once they get the boot to the door. Mr. Anderson also showed off his promo skills and comic timing, which obviously showed flashes of being a main eventer and showing the painful fact that the WWE made a mistake!

Ted Dibiase
3 of 9Dibiase has shown flashes of brilliance both in the ring and on the mic, but being misused by the creative team is bringing him dangerously close to being label to Midcard for life. If he's not given the proper time to shine, he'll appear as wooden in the ring and lacking an ounce of charisma.
Luckily for Dibiase, we as wrestling fans are wise enough to see that he's is main event potential, though we see it more through his in-ring performances then when he's holding a mic. His YouTube video show a different side of him that I think is very rarely ever seen on WWE programing. If the WWE lets him be as he is in the videos, he would be a pretty decent face.

R-Truth
4 of 9Rest assure his videos are not R-Truth talking to himself with his eyes wild searching for the truth! Personally, I didn't like the Face R-Truth who would rap his entrance music all the way to the rig while the kiddies scream along with him, "WHAT'S UP?" In my eyes, he is a wrestler who's a midcard for life.
One heel turn later, and R-Truth might have a chance to taste the WWE title or floundered right back to his spot on the midcard.
His videos are a lot more entertaining then his previous on-air face gimmick, as they did produce a few chuckles out of my cold steel heart. In one video, he's even upset over the fact our heroes are not out saving the day. Needless to say, he was more fun to watch in his videos then when he was a face.

Shawn Micheals
5 of 9Normally wrestlers who use Youtube are up and coming stars that are trying to build or maintain their fanbase when they have limited exposure on television. HBK is just an retired legend that wants to stay connected to his fans, as he loves us all that way. He has his own Facebook page, Twitter and YouTube accounts all in an effort to stay connected with his while enjoying being retired with his family.
The videos are diverse with some just showing Shawn be his last two DX incarnation self to some promotional videos. He even has videos where he announces events where greet and meets, signing and etc. It's a nice way to see good ol HBK when we need to see something new visually, as we miss him on the WWE shows.

Melina
6 of 9Now, Melina might not be your favorite diva due to the whole John Morrison giving Trish Stratus the cold shoulder or the rumor of Melina making Batista's bed rock all years ago while still being with Morrison. I'm neutral to the whole thing as how much of it is actually true is debatable, as backstage politics can lead to some nasty rumors.
In any case, I'm more of a fan of Melina than one of her haters, so I watch her Youtube videos, which is her just speaking her mind out. She seems like a really down to earth woman and one I would love to sit and chat with, as she gives off this very bubbly vibe. Her videos are interesting, and for those Melina fans, it is a must watch, as you'll see a side of her you rarely see on WWE programming.

Curt Hawkins
7 of 9Hawkins YouTube account has only two videos up, but from those two videos, he shows a lot of potential, as it seems he'll be talking about various topics wrestling relating. He'll be taking a more serious tone with his videos, which contrast to his former partner's comic style.
I wish I could say more, but since Hawkins has not really started, I can't go on with much but just wanted to mention his videos, as if he returns to doing them, you'll be entertained for sure.

Zack Ryder
8 of 9Zack Ryder "Z! True Island Story" is extraordinarily awesome and woo woo woo, you know it! I don't know where to start, as Ryder's videos are really well done to where it's like watching a mine episode of Saturday Night Live. It's funny as hell, as I sometimes get dirty looks from having a big belly laugh all because of Ryder's Joke.
Ryder would make clever reference to himself not being pushed to having issues with his father because his dear old dad is a fan of John Morrison. He mentions some episodes of Raw and other events such as clips of Zack Ryder signs in the crowd to a clip of Ryder singing Rebecca Black's "Friday" at Wrestlemania.
My favorite part of the show is the "Broski of the Week," which shows Ryder's favorite fan submitted video of a fan saying why he/she should be Broski of the week. This is a creative way to further more interact with his fans, and it's so unique that not even Matt Hardy has done anything of that sort. Ryder's success with YouTube will surely encourage his fellow wrestling peers to attempt making videos of themselves to reach their goals.
So catch up on all of Zack Ryder's videos, as you'll feel reborned after watching them or at least very entertained.
