
The Ultimate Sports City: Which US Cities Have Hosted the Best Sporting Events?
First we gave you The Ultimate Sports List, the world's top 150 sporting events as voted by sports fans around the world. Then, using our My Passport feature, where fans check off the TUSL.com events they have attended and receive points based on the number and rank of those events, we announced The Ultimate Sports Fan, the person with the most Passport points.
On Wednesday, April 6, using the same logic from our My Passport feature, we announced The Ultimate Sports City, or that US city which has accumulated the most points based on the number and rank of the TUSL.com events it has hosted.
Actually, we announced the 30 top US cities, with the city ranked No. 1 carrying the moniker of The Ultimate Sports City.

30. Kansas City, Missouri

Kansas City has hosted eight TUSL.com events, including three of the first four Men's Final Fours.
29. Portland, Oregon

Portland has hosted eight TUSL.com events. It was the first US city to host the Stanley Cup, in 1916, and has also hosted the Final Four, the NBA Finals and the Ryder Cup.
28. Jacksonville, Florida

Jacksonville has hosted six TUSL.com events, including the Super Bowl, the Ryder Cup and the annual Florida-Georgia football game.
27. Louisville, Kentucky

Los Angeles is the Ultimate Sports City, having hosted 34 TUSL.com events. It is the only city in the world to have hosted the Summer Olympic Games, the FIFA World Cup Final and the Super Bowl.
Los Angeles has also hosted the Final Four, the World Series and the FIFA Women's World Cup Final. It is the permanent home of the Rose Bowl Game, the USC-UCLA football game, Pauley Pavilion, the Lakers-Celtics game, the Manhattan Beach Open and Dodger Stadium.
