National Signing Day 2011: A Look at West Virginia's 2011 Commitments

National Signing Day is inching ever closer and that can only mean one thing: The college football recruiting talk is about to go into overdrive.

As we start to prepare ourselves for the February 2 festivities, I'd like to take a quick look at the recruiting class that's shaping up for my alma mater, West Virginia.

So far the Mountaineers have 22 commitments for the 2011 class, and head coach Bill Stewart has done another great job wrangling up some talented youngsters in his last go-around on the recruiting trail for West Virgina.

Prospects like LB Shaq Petteway, CB Vance Roberts and WR Kenneth Myers all have the chance to be difference makers at the collegiate level and the future once again looks promising in Morgantown. 

As we prepare to transition from the Stewart era to the new Dana Holgorsen regime, it should be interesting to see how West Virginia's recruiting philosophies change after next season. 

While nothing is set in stone until Signing Day, let's take a look at the 22 young men who have already pledged their services to the blue and gold.
