Arsenal Premier League Player Ratings Versus West Ham: 1-0
1 (Alexandre Song 88)
Arsenal
West Ham United
Arsenal secured their six win of the season thanks to a last gasp header from Alexandre Song to give the Gunners a 1-0 win in what was a truly thrilling London derby. In typical Arsenal fashion, Arsene Wenger's men dominated possession but failed to capitalize on chances as West Ham showed impressive, gritty defence to consistently deny the North London giants.
However just as the game appeared to be heading for a stalemate, neat, composed work from Gael Clichy ensured the Frenchman was able to supply a inch perfect cross into the West Ham box which enabled Alexandre Song to emphatically dive to give Arsenal a truly memorable win.
Wenger and his men maintain their dominance in second place with Chelsea still ahead by five points in first.

The in-form Polish shot-stopper endured a quiet afternoon as the West Ham attack rarely threatened the Arsenal goal. However when called upon the 25-year-old was calm and safe, maintaining his image as the new Arsenal No. 1.
Bacary Sagna: 8

The Samba star was neat and tidy, making some strong tackles and interception. The Brazilian did have a tendency to be wasteful on the ball however and was substituted late.
Samir Nasri: 7

The heart and soul of the Arsenal attack but unfortunately the French playmaker found little reward. Unlucky to engrave his name onto the Arsenal scoresheet with a superb long-range free kick.
Andrei Arshavin: 6

The Russian dynamo boasted a great work ethic but found little reward. Threaten greatly at times and provided strong passes, but was never really able to penetrate the West Ham goal.

Similar to Arshavin, the Moroccan was a tireless worker but failed to really dazzle and impress. Endured constant rough play from the West Ham backline but always provided a commanding presence in attack.
