NFL Trade Deadline: Will Albert Haynesworth Finally Be Traded?
The trade deadline is coming up faster than I can type, and the question still remains on Washington Redskins troubled defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth: Will he stay or will he go now?
The $100 million man has played in three games this year and has six measly tackles. Just two weeks ago it seems that he and Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan had repaired their relationship, as Shanahan praised him for his effort against the Philadelphia Eagles, but now his status is in question.
Shanahan said in his weekly Monday press conference that Haynesworth was not ready to workout with the team last Thursday, and after missing the previous week due to the death of his brother, he was not fit to play in the Week 6 loss to the Colts.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Haynesworth was visibly miffed by the decision, saying that he would have loved to have played on Sunday, and that he was ready to go both physically and mentally.
Albert has repeatedly said that he does not fit into the Redskins' 3-4 system and would rather have the freedom to pursue and attack the quarterback at will.
Now, according to the NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, the Redskins have dropped the asking price for the big man.
The Redskins have been seeking a mid-to-high second round draft pick in exchange for Haynesworth, reasoning that they had put too much money into him to let him go for anything less.
It seems now that Shanahan would be open to listening to deals for a third-rounder, or possibly two future mid-round picks.
There have been talks in the past weeks that Haynesworth could be up for a reunion with Jeff Fisher in Tennessee, where Albert was drafted and made a name for himself.
Haynesworth fit much more easily into the scheme that was basically built around him since he emerged as a huge threat after being drafted in 2002.
After racking up 14.5 sacks and three forced fumbles in his final two years with the Titans, Haynesworth has largely been considered a disappointment for Washington, with only four sacks and 37 tackles a season ago. He has also become a disruption off the field with confrontations with Shanahan after he was hired as the new head coach.
Haynesworth could come right in and supplant Tony Brown, who came into the season on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list and played limited time against Jacksonville last night.
Haynesworth's status is still up in the air, as Titans' brass believe that he will stay put, but at the same time lowered the price to acquire him. It seems they wouldn't mind someone taking him off their hands.
With the trade deadline less than three hours away, only time will tell.
