NFL SpreadSHREDDER Week 5: Max Hall, Jesus Christ, to Defeat Latter Day Saints
SpreadSHREDDER Week 4 Record: 2-1
Overall Record: 7-4-1
The SpreadSHREDDER rebounded from its first losing week of the season with a 2-1 record as we sit pretty at over 60 percent ATS this young season. Speaking of young...
ARIZONA (+7) OVER NEW ORLEANS
The Arizona Cardinals will be returning home after a 31-point blowout that has inflated the line, making them a touchdown underdog at home against a Saints team that has struggled on offense thus far and will be coming off of an inflated victory at home vs. the Panthers.
The Cardinals will be making the switch at quarterback to Mormon BYU prodigy Max Hall, a caveat that will add immense value to the home dog against the heavily favored Saints.
The Cardinals are undefeated at home thus far, and will not take kindly to being underdogs on their own home turf. It doesn't hurt that New Orleans will be coming off four consecutive emotional contests, with the previous two coming against divisional opponents.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The multiple emotional edges which favor the Cardinals is facilitated by the fact that our lines have the overvalued Saints favored by only two points. The fatigued Saints will have a hard time getting up for a non-divisional game where they must travel across two time zones to fend off one of the more meaningful home-field advantages in football. ARIZONA, 20-17.
DETROIT (-3) OVER ST. LOUIS
The Lions have been showing character all season, and are not your typical 0-4 team. Our lines have the Lions as a touchdown favorite over a Rams team that plays in the worst division in the NFL, and a division that is quickly becoming notorious for its weak play out of conference.
Lions quarterback Shaun Hill has overachieved this season, and will lead a Lions team that will be desperately playing at home seeking a much deserved first win of the season. The Lions are unbeaten against the spread at home this season, and their underrated offense should be put on display at Ford Field against the Rams. DETROIT, 31-21.
MINNESOTA (+4) OVER NEW YORK JETS
The Jets will be playing a Vikings team coming off of a bye week. This means Minnesota had two weeks to prepare for a team in which their quarterback played for just two years ago. Favre's intimate knowledge of the Jets players on defense gives the Vikings the edge as underdogs. Should Favre's knowledge of the Jets be considered dated (or should Favre's memory fail him at such an advanced age), newcomer Randy Moss should be quite familiar with the Jets' schemes being his history with the Jets as a former member of the New England Patriots.
Coming off their third straight double-digit cover, as well as their third straight divisional win, expect a dip in the intensity level and a return to earth for the Jets.
This week's Monday night contest will be of higher importance to the 1-2 Vikings—a team with Super Bowl aspirations similar to the Jets—and this should resonate in the final score. MINNESOTA, 24-14.
