NFL Week 5 Prime Picks: Winners Predicted
Last week still had surprises as we recorded a 10-4 week and reached 36-26 overall for 2010 which is not spectacular.
This week is looking to be very solid picking winners and I do expect double-digits easily in wins this week.
Chicago travels to Carolina where the Panthers are desperate for a win. Chicago is 3-1 and looking to rebound from a bad loss last week.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With Steve Smith probably out this week, the offense will be limited to the pounding ground game. The Bears defense will hold up this week as Clausen will struggle against this defense. Take the Bears.
Cincinnati should be a better team than the Bucs this season so far, although Tampa Bay does seem to be improving. The Bengals won that division last season folks. The Bengals will win this game.
The Rams, led by Sam Bradford, now play Detroit. The Rams are 2-2 while Detroit looks for the first win of 2010. They get it this week at home. Take Detroit.
Houston should have enough offense to sneak by the Giants this week. Expect more points than the Giants allowed Chicago last week as Houston shows the league it could win that division and make the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. Houston wins a low-scoring game at home.
Denver, traveling back East to Baltimore, will not work out well for the Broncos. That said, Baltimore manhandles Kyle Orton this week and wins this game at home.
Atlanta competing for their own division title will have no trouble with Cleveland this week and move on up in the standings, staying with New Orleans who also will win on the road in Arizona this week, as fantasy players everywhere are benching Larry Fitzgerald for lack of production.
Peyton Manning is on CBS Sports Sunday taking on Kansas City in a win. The best you can hope for in this game is Kansas City covering bets of plus eight and a half to nine points and beating the spread.
Jacksonville is on the road against Buffalo who can't defend the run. Maurice Jones-Drew is licking his chops. The pass defense is pretty good so leave the receivers for Jacksonville off your fantasy lineup for success. Jacksonville wins this road game to knock the Bills to an 0-5 start.
Green Bay should be too fast and talented in most departments to have any kind of trouble with an older Washington Redskins team loaded with old people at running back and other key positions. The Packers should win by 10 after a scare in Detroit last week.
Dallas will wake up a bit after a bye week and beat Tennessee at home. Expect a decent day out of the Dallas offense.
San Diego looked very sharp last week and Oakland fans have to wonder when this team ever does get any better defensively. The offense for Oakland shows sporadic signs of life but you have to be an idiot to bet money on Oakland straight up. Again, maybe they can beat the point spread of six to seven points. That's about all to hope for in the Bay Area.
Remember the 49ers suck this season too, as they try to catch a break without Vick or McCoy to deal with this week. They are favored by three to four points at home. The 49ers win a close one and get off the no-win list.
The Eagles season rests in Michael Vick's hands, who will not touch the ball this week.
Brett Favre marches back into New York with Randy Moss in tow. Santonio Holmes is now active for the Jets which opens up the passing lanes even more for Sanchez.
Peterson against Tomlinson running and the aerial circus from Favre and Sanchez makes for one exciting Monday Night Football game.
I will take the Vikings this week to make something happen and spark up the 2010 season for the Vikings fans. Lose this game, and the Favre rumour mill fires up, Harvin gets a migraine, and the Vikings season moves further away from the playoff picture.
The Jets can afford to lose maybe two games at home this season, and this game might be one of those.
Good luck to your teams and in your office pools with these helpful hints.
