The young starlet’s usually boast phenomenal maturity and talent when they are blooded onto the centre stage of first team football.
But predominantly, all youngsters endure loan spells that enable them to develop and become the talents they are.

The loan spells allow the youngsters to receive a premium taste of first team experience and gain confidence and maturity. The stints are often to clubs in the Championship and League One division, which is a superb breeding ground for development.
This season is no different, with a number of youngsters offloaded on loan. Sanchez Watts, Francis Coquelin, Luke Freeman, and Kyle Bartley are just a few of the promising talents currently receiving beneficial playing time.
However, currently there are a number of youngsters desperately awaiting loan spells due to the inability to receive opportunities in the Arsenal first team. It was thought Wenger would continue his healthy and beneficial trend of utilizing youngsters in the Carling Cup but that trend diminished when Arsenal were faced with fierce rivals Tottenham.
Despite managing to overcome their neighbours, the Gunners now face Newcastle and it looms unlikely the Frenchman will attempt to blood some youngsters as Wenger values the chances of winning the Carling Cup. This leaves a number of youngsters deprived of first team opportunities which enables a loan spell to become tremendously appealing.
Here are six youngsters in desperate need of a loan spell.
1. Vito Mannone
It is hard to interpret what the Italian shot stopper may have done to fall down the pecking order in the keeping line up, despite Manuel Almunia’s and Lukasz Fabianski constant errors, but Mannone seems unlikely to ever get a chance at this moment in time—which is furthered by boom teenage keeper Wojciech Szczensy frustrations increasing, resulting in his threats of a departure.
Nonetheless, the 22 year old would thrive with a full season at the helm of a Championship club. A long spell would ensure the Italian receives much needed experience as well as the opportunity to really show case his talents.
2. Craig Eastmond
The 20 year old launched onto first team scene last season with emphasis, going on to make seven appearances in all competition, four of which were in the physicality of the Premier League.
The Englishman is a powerful, tenacious player whose blessed with great control, speed, and strength. Boasting tremendous versatility Eastmond is capable of fulfilling any role in the midfield and backline.
However, it seems the young gun is struggling to make a sufficient impact on Wenger’s plan as Eastmond just made the bench for the recent Carling Cup challenge. Eastmond is yet to enjoy a loan spell which furthers his case to endure one.
With Emmanuel Frimpong absent for the season due to a heartbreaking ligament injury and Francis Coquelin away on loan with French side Lorient FC, the England U-19 sensation is a readymade back up for Alexandre Song in the defensive midfield department.
Song will miss almost of month of football in January when the African Nations Cup begins, which could prove a great opportunity for Eastmond, although a loan spell still looks promising.
3. Connor Henderson
Henderson's impressive form in the reserves and youths last season enabled the 19 year old to receive a place on the Arsenal bench for the last few fixtures of 2009/2010.
However, it is unlikely the midfielder will gain many opportunities this campaign and could thrive under a spell with a Championship or League One team.
The Englishman shows great promise and it expected to be a consistent first team player in the coming years for the Gunners.
4. Thomas Cruise
The 19 year old made his professional Arsenal debut last season in the Champions League at left back and showed promising traits. A tough, imposing defender with natural pace and control, Cruise is versatile and strong.
The celebrity namesake has already expressed his desire to go abroad on loan, despite being touted as the third choice left back.
Albeit it seems unlikely the Englishman will receive any first team chances this campaign, which is why a loan spell would be ideal.
5. Gilles Sunu
A powerful, hugely talented striker with a huge future in European football, Gilles Sunu shows signs of becoming the next big thing in World Football.
The 19 year old has been a consistent performer for the reserves since joining from French side Chateauroux in 2007.
The Frenchman’s eye catching efforts earned him appearances in the Carling and Champions League Cups before spending the remaining months of the season on loan with Derby. Sunu has been targeted by a number of French sides who have enticed him with the opportunity to play consistent first team football.
However, there is talk of Sunu returning to Derby County on loan, which shows reassuring signs for the Gunners faithful.
6. Cedric Evina
The 19 year old reserve captain is a highly touted defender with great speed, vision, and power. Evina is able to play as a central or wide defender and is confident on both feet.
The Englishman has worked his way up the Arsenal academy ranks for a number of years now and deserves a loan spell to really showcase his talents.
