Report: Nebraska "Informally" Agrees To Join Big Ten
College football fans, the wait is over. We may have officially seen the beginning of a huge change in college football's landscape.
Moments ago, College football writer Chip Brown tweeted that Nebraska is making the move to the Big Ten. Brown has had multiple stints with ESPN as well as other news outlets.
He said, "Orangebloods.com: Nebraska regents have informally agreed to leave for the Big Ten. A formal announcement will come Friday."
Since then, 100-plus people have already retweeted the breaking news.
The next question is who, if any other schools, will join them. Is Missouri guaranteed to join them? What about Texas and Oklahoma? Will the Pac-10 or SEC look to lure programs to improve themselves as well?
For those of you who wanted change, it is happening right in front of our eyes.
For those who didn't—these changes are only the future, as college football begins the many changes to improve the sport.
