Most of the boxing fans had Miguel Cotto on the losing side of his bout against Yuri Foreman.

Well, you were all wrong.

Cotto gave the people their money's worth in Saturday's fight at Yankee Stadium.

He should've felt at home, since he's from the Bronx.

It would've been kind of embarassing for Cotto to lose in his own backyard to a Jewish guy.

Foreman lost his balance in the middle rounds when his knee buckled.

But he courageously kept fighting.

Foreman limped to his corner after the end of the seventh round.

He was asked if he wanted to quit.

After nearly two minites went by in the eighth, someone threw in a white towel.

It didn't come from Foreman's corner.

Maybe his wife saw enough of her wounded husband and threw it in the ring.

TV cameras showed the look of concern on her face because she didn't want her man to suffer a "Boogie Down Bronx" beatdown.

At the 2 minte 18-second mark of the ninth round, after he fell again, Foreman said, "That's it!"

Cotto, at 35-2, took the WBA Super Welterweight title away from Foreman (28-1).

Then, Roy Jones said on HBO that he can't wait to see the Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather fight.

Those two clowns can't even agree on making that fight happen.

Jones thought Cotto would stay at 154 instead of moving down to 147 - Floyd's neck of the woods.

I'll tell you now:  Cotto don't want to see Mayweather.

He wants no part of the man they call "Money."

Cotto should stay at 154.

If he ever dreamed about fighting Mayweather, he better wake up and apologize.
