City Shock Chelsea To Help Red Devils
For many today's game between Chelsea and Manchester City was all about how Wayne Bridge was going to greet John Terry. For the two sides it was all about the three points.
A win for Chelsea would put the Blues four points ahead of Manchester United, a win for City would see the Sky Blues move upto fourth.
As the teams shook hands all eyes were on Terry and Bridge and understandably the left back refused to shake the Chelsea captain's hand. Credit to Terry though as he seemed unfased by the situation but you cant help but think of the awkwardness between the two.

Putting that aside, the first half failed to live upto expectations despite seeing two goals in the last five minutes. The majority of the half saw City frustrate Chelsea with the home side wasting valuable set-pieces.
Chelsea however did take the lead after having to be patient for most of the half. Frank Lampard peeled away from Vincent Kompany to latch onto Joe Cole's through ball and beat Shay Given to his right. At this point Carlo Ancelloti would have been pleased with a 1-0 lead going into half time but a defencive error drew the sides level.
John Obi-Mikel failed to deal with a Man City clearance allowing Carlos Tevez to take on Ricardo Carvalho and John Terry before scuffing his effort past Hilario. Chelsea 1 -1 Man City at half-time.
The second half was much better in terms of quality and saw Man City take the lead in the fifty-first minute. A Chelsea attack was broken up and City counter attacked through Craig Bellamy who beat Mikel and fired calmly past Hilario from a tight angle.
With the game now open Chelsea continued to press but another City attack left the Blues red faced. Juliano Belletti fouled Gareth Barry and was sent off after only being on the pitch as a substitute for fourteen minutes. Tevez dispatched the penalty sending the City fans into raptures.
There was more to come though as Michael Ballack took Tevez out from behind and was shown a second yellow card. The inevitable then happened. With Chelsea down to nine men, Shaun Wright-Phillips broke clear to set Bellamy up who made no mistake in making it 4-1.
There was time for Chelsea to grab a goal back through Frank Lampard's penalty but mistakes cost the Blues in a game where they felt they were more prepared.
It was a much better performance from City who bounced back from their FA Cup extra-time loss to Stoke City on Tuesday night but they may have just done their local rivals a favour as the Premier League heads towards an exciting finish.
