Donte' Stallworth Goes to Baltimore: NFL Commissioner Should Be Ashamed
So, the Baltimore Ravens have decided to sign Donte' Stallworth. Why are we not surprised? They have a history of keeping guys like Ray Lewis, who too was once arrested for (but not convicted of) the death of someone.
To say I am still bitter about Art Modell taking the team out of Cleveland in the mid-90s would be an understatement. But it pales in comparison to the actions of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. To openly condone behavior like Stallworth's is sickening.
The guy spent only 28 days in jail for killing a person whose life was cut short by his irresponsibility. He chose to drink and drive, and just one year later he is back in the league.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
What about the family of the victim? Has anyone thought about them? How they must live the rest of their lives because of his actions? Could you imagine what it will be like to turn on the NFL on Sunday and hear his name? It must be like a dagger through their hearts.
Sure, I believe in giving a guy a second chance. Michael Vick seems to have paid his due, but he injured dogs and went to prison. Stallworth killed a human being, and he's back in the league faster than Vick was.
Let's get some perspective here: The commissioner says he wants to change the face of the NFL and make moves like this. He is changing the face alright, and it looks hauntingly like a mugshot.
We, as fans, should be appalled at this and at ourselves for not collectively throwing our flags and penalizing Goodell for a personal foul on the victim's family.
