Kentucky Wildcats Breeze Through Baton Rouge
After the loss on the road in South Carolina, Kentucky has come back strong by winning two games convincingly at home against ranked Vanderbilt and Ole Miss.
Back out on the road, Kentucky carried momentum into Baton Rouge and swept the floor in an 81-55 beatdown.
Kentucky once again displayed its supremacy against a weaker SEC opponent.

Three players scored in double digits (Cousins, Patterson, Bledsoe) for the Wildcats, not including John Wall who scored a season-low six points but had a team-high three blocks.
Forward phenom Demarcus Cousins has established himself as the Wildcats go-to guy on offense and leader on the boards, scoring a team-high 19 points and 13 rebounds to make it six-straight games with double-doubles.
The Wildcats once again displayed their dominance on the boards, out-rebounding the Tigers 51-24, and their ability to get to the line, reaching the line 20-plus times in six-straight games.
LSU guard Bo Spencer was the only player to challenge Kentucky, scoring a game-high 25 points, but shooting 9-of-24 from the field and 2-of-12 beyond the arc. Forward Tasmin Mitchell was the only other player to score in double-digits (10 points).
Since the loss to South Carolina, Kentucky has scored more than 80 points, and have beaten their opponents by double-digits in points and rebounds
Kentucky’s following two games are in the homely confines of Rupp Arena against Alabama (13-9, 3-5) and Tennessee (17-4, 5-2).
Expect a similar type of game against Alabama, who are on a two-game skid and possess no real threat on offense.
The Tennessee game will be a dog fight, but Tennessee has struggled on offense recently, and Kentucky’s offense is starting to heat up.
