Rock Bottom: The Betrayal of Colorado Rockies Fans
In all sports, there are winners and losers.
In Denver, the losers are the people who supported the Rockies this season—and the organization itself is to blame.
Even the WWE wouldn't have messed up this badly.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
For the last two days, fans have been trying to snag tickets to the World Series at Coors Field through an online broker.
And for the last two days, fans have been given the shaft.
As is stands, the Rockies are sounding like Barry Bonds—full of excuses, none of which seem to be plausible.
It's understandable that Series seats would go fast. But when people in California, Texas, and New Hampshire can get tickets, and people who live less than a block from the stadium can't even get past the online payment screen, there's something wrong.
On Monday, the team said the site was sabotaged by hackers.
On Tuesday, they didn't bother with an alibi—they just shrugged their shoulders and said, "Sorry."
Sorry?!
That's all your loyal fans are worth to you?
The Rockies players deserves better. The Rockies fans deserve better. And above all else, baseball deserves better.
When I say better, I mean they deserve a better outcome, a better alternative, a better response than a simple shrug and, "We're sorry."
I can understand that the Rockies are new to this whole World Series thing, but this is more depressing than the St. Louis Rams.
To not allow tickets to be sold at the box office is an insult and an embarrassment. And what's worse is that the morons in charge don't even have the balls to face the angry mob their stupidity created.
Don't be surprised if many Coloradoans are turned off from the Rockies by the ineptitude. And don't be suprised if the team falters because of it.
I can't boycott the World Series in Denver—but I would like the men and women responsible for this 48-hour travesty to be dangled on Blake Street, so that everyone who paid for tickets and received none can beat them like piñatas.
That's my story...and you're damn right, I'm sticking to it!
