10 Scorching MLB Takes 🌶️

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
1) Chicago Cubs (NL Central): 45-25
No Soriano, no problem. Despite losing their leadoff guy for at least a month and a half, the Cubs have managed to take two from Toronto. However, the schedule doesn't get easier, with the Rays and White Sox on deck.
2) Boston Red Sox (AL East): 44-28
The BoSox spent last week fighting the Rays as well as each other. They have had little trouble against Cincinnati, but they might want to enjoy that. The reason: Philadelphia and St. Louis are on the horizon.
3) St. Louis Cardinals (NL Central): 42-29
The Cardinals lost Albert Pujols, got their worst loss in Busch Stadium's three-year existence, then bounced back to win two more, only to possibly lose Yadier Molina. The worst news: They got Boston at the end of the week.
4) Los Angeles Angels (AL West): 41-28
The Angels have been flip-floppy the past week. They took two against Tampa Bay, but then they lost two to Atlanta. But it gets more interesting, as they get the struggling Mets tomorrow and Philadelphia on Friday.
5) Tampa Bay Rays (AL East): 40-29
One of the most surprising teams of the season, Tampa Bay proved to Boston that it can hang with the biggest and baddest in the AL. Off to their best start, they have a date with two from the NL Central: Houston and the Cubs.
6) Philadelphia Phillies (NL East): 41-30
After dissecting the Cardinals in the season opener, Philadelphia has dropped their last two to St. Louis. Now they can prove just how good they are as they host the defending World Champion Boston Red Sox.
7) Chicago White Sox (AL Central): 38-31
Ozzie's temper may have put him in the hot seat, but it's also got his team winning ball games. They have slightly easy pickings with Colorado and Pittsburgh, but then they have the Windy Series coming up this weekend.
8) Oakland Athletics (AL West): 38-31
After completing the sweep of the Giants, the A's now have Arizona and Florida on tap. The A's have been succeeding in their quest to make their fight for the division. And they might grab the lead if they continue their winning ways.
9) Florida Marlins (NL East): 37-32
After taking one from the Rays, the Marlins now have to make a West Coast trip. They got a trio of games against the mediocre Mariners and another trio set against the surging A's.
10) New York Yankees (AL East): 37-33
The Yankees are back in the hunt for the East. After turning a hat trick against Houston, the Bombers have a set coming up against the Padres and Reds. If they keep this up, both Tampa Bay and Boston will be looking in the rear-views.
11) Arizona Diamondbacks (NL West): 37-33
One lifetime ago, the D'Backs were a definitive threat in the National League. But after dropping a pair to Kansas City, the leaders of the NL West have the A's on tap, followed by the Minnesota Twins.
12) Milwaukee Brewers (NL Central): 36-33
They snapped a two-game skid and kept pace with the two leaders of the NL Central. Now they've got a pair of AL teams coming to town and coming off losses: Toronto and Baltimore.
So that's the best in the league right now. So here's the question: Which league is better at this point?
