Masters 2020: Start Time, Live Stream, TV Schedule and Odds

Michelle BrutonNov 9, 2020

No blade of grass out of place. The birds (they're real, they swear) chirping. The sun shining. The azaleas in full bloom.

These are the sights and sounds of Augusta National Golf Club, on display for the world to enjoy (and the very lucky to experience firsthand) every spring when the Masters Tournament comes to town the first full week of April.

This year, of course, things are going to look a lot different when the 84th edition of the tournament kicks off on Thursday, November 12, after being postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

For one thing, the azaleas won't be providing their typically colorful backdrop; the flower only blooms for a couple of weeks in the spring. Viewers, however, will be treated to a rare beautiful sight in its own right: fall at Augusta National.

But more jarring will no doubt be the absence of fans, who typically fly in from around the world to experience the exclusivity of a Masters Tournament with their signature "Augusta roars." Of course, barring spectators in the interest of public health during a pandemic was a responsible decision, but it remains true that this year's event will be like no other.

Fortunately for anyone planning to watch the Masters from home this year, the experience won't be as changed.

This year, traditional broadcast host CBS is joining with ESPN to provide 18 hours of live TV coverage over the tournament. Golf Channel and ESPN will provide coverage leading up to the event starting Monday.

All the details you need to know to tune in are below, as well as early odds for the golfers in the last major of the year.

It would be impossible to write off defending 2019 Masters champion and legend Tiger Woods at Augusta National, but he does not lead the odds heading into this year's tournament for good reason.

Bryson DeChambeau has been adored by Vegas has adored since he won the U.S. Open in September. It was his first major title, and it came in decisive fashion, with a six-under-par 274, including shooting 67 on his final round, which beat the rest of the field by three strokes.

DeChambeau is already making headlines ahead of the Masters for his outrageous practice round at Augusta National. After putting on weight and building strength this year, DeChambeau is hitting farther than ever.

How about a an 8-iron into the 575-yard, par-5 second hole?

But don't count out Spaniard Jon Rahm, who became the world No. 1 after winning the Memorial Tournament in July 2020.

Then, of course, there's Dustin Johnson, who finished tied for second just one stroke behind Woods in last year's tournament—and then finished second the following month in the PGA Championship behind Brooks Koepka.

This year's Masters Tournament will look different. But the most important part, the world's best golfers in top form facing off for the honor of the green jacket, remains intact.
