Hoffenheim Say Reported Arsenal Target Julian Nagelsmann Won't Be Leaving
Hoffenheim's director of football Alexander Rosen has said the club's head coach Julian Nagelsmann will not be going anywhere this summer amid speculation he's a target for Arsenal.
Per Sky Sports News, Rosen is confident the Bundesliga side will be able to keep the 30-year-old at the club for the 2018-19 campaign:

With Arsene Wenger leaving Arsenal after 22 years in charge, the Gunners are on the lookout for a new coach to take the team forward. According to Sky Sports News, Manchester City coach Mikel Arteta and Nagelsmann are in contention for the position.
Hoffenheim, however, want to let their boss go, as the 30-year-old has done a good job at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena since being appointed in 2016.
After taking over at the age of 28 and becoming the youngest manager in the history of the German top flight, Nagelsmann enjoyed instant success. In his first full season in charge he steered the team into fourth and earned a qualifying berth for the UEFA Champions League.

At times this season it didn't appear as though Hoffenheim were capable of matching that feat. But a stunning end to the season and a 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund on the final day of the Bundesliga term saw them up to third position.
What's made the job done by the coach so impressive is the players that have been moved on by Hoffenheim during his time in charge.
In his first summer at the club star forward Kevin Volland departed, while ahead of this campaign Niklas Sule and Sebastian Rudy, also key members of the XI last term, joined Bayern Munich. Nagelsmann has restructured the squad effectively and improved players already at the club.
As we can see here courtesy of DW Sports, there's a rapport between the manager and his players too:
It's difficult not to be impressed by the work done at Hoffenheim, so it is little surprise Arsenal have considered Nagelsmann as a suitor.
Bundesliga pundit and former Norway international Jan Aage Fjortoft believes Nagelsmann would be ideal for the Premier League side:
While he may not have links with the London club like Arteta, who spent five years as an Arsenal player, Nagelsmann's experience in the Bundesliga and in European football far surpasses that of the Spaniard, who is yet to manage a senior game.
But Hoffenheim appear convinced Nagelsmann will be around to lead the team into European football's elite club competition again next season. Based on the astute work done by the coach at the club so far and the success it's yielding, you could understand if he was also keen to stay put for a while yet.
