Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta told reporters he's yet to make a decision on where he'll move at the end of the season after his team's 5-1 triumph over Villarreal on Wednesday.

The midfielder acknowledged speculation linking him with clubs all over the world, per Marca:

"Everything that isn't in Europe is possible, they say that it's not China, now they're saying Japan and I've read Australia.

"You'll know when I say it, I have a week-and-a-half left to enjoy and when the season ends my mind will be on the national team and my future.

"There are small details left to confirm, and I'll try to choose the best option.

"I'm trying to enjoy it because there's not long left.

"Being on the pitch is what I like the most, if things go well then it's even better."

The 33-year-old started the match against Villarreal and lasted 61 minutes, providing an assist along the way. As shared by FourFourTweet, their opponents went out of their way to honour the midfielder:

Iniesta has been linked with clubs in the United States and the Far East, with Cadena Ser (h/t ESPN's Jordi Blanco) publishing strong claims a deal with Japanese side Vissel Kobe is all but done.

A-League boss Greg O'Rourke spoke to the Australian Associated Press (h/t official A-League website) about his league's interest in Iniesta, making it clear he would be welcome Down Under as well.

The Spaniard has never played for a club other than Barcelona as a professional, graduating from their famed academy and making his debut back in 2002.

The Blaugrana have two more matches remaining in their La Liga campaign and are still unbeaten in the competition, so there's plenty left to play for. Iniesta's final outing will be at home against Real Sociedad, in what should be an emotional match―La Real will say goodbye to a club icon of their own, as it will also be the final outing of Xabi Prieto, per AS' Ivan Cordovilla
