Russell Westbrook: Thunder Have to 'Be Aggressive' After Loss vs. Jazz
Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony missed all 14 of their shots in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's Game 2 loss to the Utah Jazz.
To the surprise of no one, Westbrook is not fazed.
"We've just got to be aggressive. Shots are going to fall," Westbrook told reporters after the 102-95 loss. "Those guys are unbelievable scorers, and we trusted in those guys all season long, and we'll continue to do that."
The Thunder had a five-point lead going into the fourth quarter after coming out of the break hot. Their offense immediately sputtered in the fourth and never recovered, with the three Thunder stars combining for just two points.
As a three-man unit, they shot 19-of-58 from the floor for the game. George and Anthony were a combined 6-of-21 from beyond the arc.
Anthony has been struggling for months, so any positive impact from him would be a pleasant surprise. Paul "Playoff P" George left his postseason swagger in Game 1, and the Thunder will hope he recaptures it when the series goes to Utah for Game 3.
