Vintage Dwyane Wade was on full display Monday as he led his Miami Heat to a 113-103 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center in Game 2 of their playoff series.

He finished with a game-high 28 points off the bench and discussed hushing the Philadelphia crowd, which included actor Kevin Hart, and his hope his son feels what it's like to spoil the home fans' evening:

The Marquette product played the role of hero during critical times of each half for the victorious Heat.

He provided a much-needed spark in the first half with 21 points, especially after his team fell behind early following a Game 1 blowout loss. It appeared as if Ben Simmons and the red-hot 76ers, who saw their 17-game winning streak come to an end against Wade and the Heat, were going to roll to another home win, but the veteran put a stop to their early momentum.

He then added the dagger in the fourth quarter after Philadelphia trimmed a 16-point deficit to a mere two with a game-saving stretch that included a steal, dunk, assist and offensive rebound to keep alive a scoring possession.

It was the type of performance Hall of Fame players bust out in postseason moments, and the NBA noted he passed Larry Bird for 10th on the all-time list of playoff scorers.

The Miami legend is not the type of playmaker opposing fans want to get going with critical playoff games hanging in the balance, and Hart and the rest of Philadelphia learned that the hard way Monday.
