The Dallas Cowboys opted to release longtime star Dez Bryant on Friday rather than pay him $12.5 million in 2018.
It's something Bryant won't soon forget about.
Right after the decision was made following a meeting between the receiver and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones at the team's facility on Friday, Bryant took to Twitter to express his feelings on the situation:

The three-time Pro Bowler made it known that he took this decision personally:
Providing an edge for someone who already has three 1,000-yard seasons and three double-digit touchdown performances on his resume could be scary for opposing defenses.
As a result, don't be surprised if Bryant, a first-round pick by Dallas in 2010, stays inside of the NFC East so he can play against his former team twice a season:
