The Los Angeles Lakers are at least doing their homework in regards to LiAngelo Ball.

Lithuanian journalist Donatas Urbonas provided the latest from the team's scouting department:

LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball, the younger brothers of Lakers guard Lonzo Ball, are currently playing for Prienu Vytautas in the Lithuanian Basketball League.

LiAngelo, 19, declared for the draft in March and is expected to work out for teams when he returns to the United States, per Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

Although Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported in December there was "no chance" he would be drafted in June, he appears to be at least getting some looks.

Ball began the season enrolled at UCLA but was suspended after being caught shoplifting during a team trip to China. He dropped out of school and instead signed on to play professionally in Europe.

In 11 league games with Vytautas, the 6'5" guard is averaging a team-high 14.5 points per game while shooting 42.5 percent from three-point range, per EuroBasket.com.

Meanwhile, joining the Lakers would all be part of the master plan from his father, LaVar Ball. The family patriarch said in February that Lonzo wouldn't re-sign with Los Angeles if the team didn't also add his two brothers, per Urbonas

The team still might not sign the middle child, but the front office is at least seeing what he can provide to a roster.
