Manchester United Transfer News: Latest on Anthony Martial Exit Rumours
Manchester United winger Anthony Martial reportedly wants guarantees regarding first-team football if he is to stay at the club beyond this season.
According to Jack Gaughan of MailOnline, the France international is unhappy at being rotated in and out of the side under manager Jose Mourinho. In addition, talks between the forward and the Red Devils over a new contract are said to have reached an impasse earlier in the campaign.
"They are believed to have resumed recently but concerns remain about how he is viewed at Old Trafford," Gaughan wrote.

In the report, Juventus are noted as a team interested in the former AS Monaco man, while Premier League duo Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest.
It was noted by Mohamed Bouhafsi of RMC Sport (h/t Tom Coast of Sport Witness) on Tuesday that Martial wants to leave United at the end of the campaign in search of a new challenge and has rejected the contract offer on the table from the Red Devils.
Sport Witness noted on Twitter there is reason to believe these reports to be truthful given the source:
Bouhafsi also said Martial's relationship with Mourinho is "rather cold" and the lack of minutes recently means the player is "unable to support his current situation any longer."
Martial has been on the bench for the team's last two Premier League matches but didn't get on the field; over the course of the last two months, he has started just twice for the team. As such, any frustration would be understandable.

Especially given that when the 22-year-old has played this season, he has done pretty well, notching nine goals and laying on five for his team-mates in the top flight.
Journalist Liam Canning does not want to see the player leave unless due to exception circumstances:
Martial is in a difficult position at Old Trafford, though, as he suddenly finds himself in a major battle for playing time.
At the start of the campaign, he was in fierce competition with Marcus Rashford for a spot in the starting XI, while the January arrival of Alexis Sanchez—who also prefers to play from the left flank—has made it even tougher for Martial to muscle his way in.
With that in mind, journalist Daniel Harris believes Martial leaving and other areas being strengthened may benefit United:
At 22, there's still a lot of improving for the United No. 11 to do, and there's no doubt he has the talent to become a world-class operator. However, he's unlikely to make those strides if he's not given regular minutes in his preferred position.
Given United have Sanchez tied down on a lucrative deal, Martial appears to be down the pecking order at Old Trafford and guarantees can't be given over his playing time. If he does become available for transfer, expect plenty of interest from across Europe.
