Alabama WR Jerry Jeudy Reportedly Underwent Surgery on Knee Injury
An injury will cost Alabama Crimson Tide receiver Jerry Jeudy some time this spring.
According to AL.com's Matt Zenitz, the sophomore wideout recently suffered a meniscus injury and underwent surgery. Per Zenitz, a return before the end of spring practice has not been ruled out.
While some may be discouraged by an injury, Jeudy plans on coming back strong:

Jeudy was Alabama's second-leading receiver last season, catching 14 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman. While those numbers may not jump off the page, they did help the Crimson Tide win a national championship.
The 6'1", 187-pound receiver has been expected to play a bigger role in Alabama's offense as Calvin Ridley moves on to the NFL. 247 Sports rated Jeudy as a 5-star recruit out of high school and ranked him as the No. 3 wide receiver in his class.
Given it's only April, there is no need for the Crimson Tide to rush the wideout back from surgery. Getting as many reps as possible with Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa would be ideal, but there are still nearly six months until kickoff against Louisville on Sept. 1. There will be plenty of reps to be had throughout the summer as long as he's healthy.
