Jets Rumors: Former Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls to Visit New York
Seeking depth for the stable of running backs, the New York Jets reportedly will be hosting free agent Thomas Rawls.
Per Brian Costello of the New York Post, Rawls will visit the Jets on Thursday.
The Jets have been among the most active teams in free agency already, adding notable players like cornerback Trumaine Johnson and quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Running back is another position the Jets have invested in, signing Isaiah Crowell to compete with Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire.
They do need to replace the carries lost from Matt Forte, who retired in February after 10 seasons in the NFL.
Rawls had immediate success with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He led the NFL with 5.6 yards per attempt in 13 games as a rookie, finishing with 830 yards on 147 carries in 13 games.
A fractured fibula limited Rawls to nine games in 2016, and he averaged just 2.7 yards per carry on 58 attempts last season.
