Tottenham Transfer News: £35M Ryan Sessegnon Bid Discussed in Latest Rumours
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to offer Fulham £35 million for starlet Ryan Sessegnon in the summer.
However, the Craven Cottage club are said to want closer to £50 million for the highly rated teenager, and there is also interest from Manchester United, according to Matt Law at the Telegraph.
Fulham may also try to keep hold of Sessegnon if they are promoted to the Premier League. Slavisa Jokanovic's side are fifth in the table and on target to achieve a play-off spot. If the Cottagers were to remain in the Championship, they might find it harder to keep hold of the teenager.

The 17-year-old is enjoying a strong campaign. He has 13 goals and four assists in the league, and six of his goals have come in his last seven outings.
Sky Sports Football showed him in goalscoring action:
Sky Sports Statto noted how only Manchester City's Sergio Aguero has outscored Sessegnon in England in 2018:
Opta highlighted just how clinical the England under-19 international has been in front of goal:
While Sessegnon is known as a left-back, he is a strong attacker and can also feature as a winger or a wide forward. Fulham have frequently used him in a far more advanced position, and his pace, positioning and awareness make him a huge threat down the left flank.
His goalscoring tally reinforces what an exciting talent he is, and it is no surprise clubs are showing an interest in his services.
Football.London's Tottenham correspondent, Alasdair Gold, said a deal for Sessesgnon could be crucial for the club:
Mauricio Pochettino has built an exciting and talented team at Spurs, but they are yet to win a trophy under his stewardship. The team finished as runners-up behind Chelsea in the Premier League last season and face a battle to secure a top-four spot in this campaign.
If Spurs are to compete for titles, the club must keep their top stars, such as Harry Kane and Dele Alli, but they must also bring in top players to increase their quality and add depth to the squad.
Former Fulham player Jimmy Bullard said Spurs would be "absolutely the right move for him at this stage of his career," per Jack Rosser at the Evening Standard.
Spurs look a good fit for Sessegnon; the club are due to move into their new stadium next season and already have a strong contingent of English players. His arrival would add more firepower and could help turn the club into title challengers.
