Victor Lindelof Reportedly Wants Jose Mourinho Assurances over Man United Future
Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof reportedly wants to hold talks with manager Jose Mourinho and receive reassurances over his future at the club.
According to The Sun's Daniel Cutts, the Sweden international is concerned about his playing time for the remainder of the season, having been restricted to appearances in the FA Cup since his last Premier League appearance on January 1.
A source at the club said:

"Victor wants to know which direction his early career is going here.
"He hasn't played on a regular basis for a while. His camp is a bit bemused why he hasn't been playing more. Everyone knows about the early struggles but he has come on a lot since then and has worked really hard.
"Victor is a really strong trainer. He does not want to rock the boat at the club, he just wants reassurances."
Lindelof arrived from Benfica last summer for £31 million but has been restricted to just 21 appearances in a United shirt, with just 741 minutes of game time coming in the Premier League.
Football writer Tom McDermott was critical of the centre-back during the 2-0 FA Cup win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday:
United blogger Liam Canning was glad to see him play, however:
Although Lindelof is new to English football and had some shaky moments early in the season, it is a surprise that he has not enjoyed more game time in recent weeks, with Eric Bailly out injured and Chris Smalling continuing to produce unconvincing performances.
The centre-back is still only 23 years old and should have a long career at Old Trafford ahead of him, though it's understandable he wants to ensure he'll keep playing for the remainder of the season, particularly after Bailly made a substitute appearance at Huddersfield.
For the time being, Lindelof will need to grab any more opportunities he's given with both hands, but he has the tools to become a key player at the back for United in the coming years.
