Barcelona's Andres Iniesta Reportedly Considering Chinese Transfer Offer
Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta is reportedly weighing up an offer from Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian, who are willing to pay the Blaugrana legend €35 million per season to leave Catalonia during the summer.
According to Sport's Lluis Miguelsanz, the 33-year-old is contemplating his future, and he's set to make a decision on the move in March. Tianjin first reached out in December before meeting with the player in January and making the astronomical offer.
Per the report, Iniesta is well aware this is likely his final opportunity for a major payday. He'll decide between Barcelona and China, spurning moves elsewhere, and while this opportunity is tempting, he also understands he's still a regular starter at the Camp Nou.

Tianjin have not been afraid of spending big on foreign imports in recent years, as the squad already contains former AC Milan star Alexandre Pato and Belgium international Axel Witsel. They also loan Anthony Modeste from Cologne.
With 16 starts in La Liga under his belt this season, Iniesta remains of vital importance for Barcelona, even as he draws ever closer to the end of his career. The Spain international has spent his entire senior career with the Blaugrana―including a spell with Barcelona B―and is one of the club's most decorated players, with eight La Liga titles under his belt.
The January arrival of Philippe Coutinho and great form of Paulinho have given manager Ernesto Valverde plenty of options. The tactician remains a fan of Ivan Rakitic, and fitting all of those stars into one team could prove tricky.

Iniesta has barely lost a step, and his game has never been overly reliant on athleticism. The clever midfielder uses positioning and great passing range to be effective, and those tools usually don't erode quickly―explaining why the Chinese club would feel confident making such a tantalising offer.
Barcelona will likely let the player decide on his future―they did the same with fellow club legend Xavi, who left for Qatar in 2015 after a long and productive career at the Camp Nou.
The Blaugrana went out of their way to say goodbye then:
Iniesta would likely receive similar treatment―he's been just as key to the club for years, and he is still a productive member of a squad running away with the La Liga title.
Per the report, Iniesta's decision will come well before the 2018 FIFA World Cup, allowing him to focus completely on international duty this summer.
