Eagles' Nick Foles Called His Own Number on Super Bowl LII Touchdown Catch
It appears Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and Super Bowl LII MVP Nick Foles made the call to become a wide receiver late in the first half of Sunday's championship game against the New England Patriots.
On Tuesday afternoon, Showtime's Inside the NFL shared a video of Eagles head coach Doug Pederson informing Foles and his coaches Philadelphia was going for a touchdown from the New England 1-yard line with 38 seconds remaining in the second quarter.
Foles responded by asking if Pederson wanted to run what Foles then called the "Philly Special" in the huddle.
