Report: Andrew Luck Close to Throwing; Will Work with Tom Brady's Strength Gurus
After missing the entire 2017 NFL season due to a shoulder injury, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is reportedly close to be being cleared to throw.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Luck will soon travel to Los Angeles to work on his throwing mechanics with strength gurus Tom House and Adam Dedeaux. They are also known to work with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
Rapoport added that Luck is trying to get his strength back by focusing on his motion and arm speed.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Colts entered the season offering little clarity on Luck's status after he underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum.
Luck began the 2017 campaign on the physically unable to perform list and returned to practice, but he was officially shut down for the season in November.
There was some fear regarding Luck needing another shoulder surgery despite the Colts saying that doctors prescribed rest and rehab, but Rapoport's report suggests that may not be necessary.
Without Luck, the Colts went just 4-12 in 2017, resulting in Chuck Pagano's ouster as head coach.
Although it isn't yet official, New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels is reportedly expected to become Indy's next head coach.
Provided Luck is ready for the start of the 2018 season, McDaniels will have one of the NFL's most talented signal-callers at his disposal.
The 28-year-old Luck is a three-time Pro Bowler who has topped 4,000 passing yards three times and thrown for 30 or more touchdowns twice.
He was in the MVP conversation in 2014 when he threw for 4,761 yards and an NFL-leading 40 touchdowns.
While the Colts have some major flaws, especially defensively, a healthy Luck would go a long way toward making them contenders in the AFC South once again in 2018.
