Earlier in the day, South African David Frost carded the low round of the tournament so far:
His scorecard was truly a boom or bust one, with Frost falling to a pair of bogeys but rescuing things with six birdies and an eagle. Unfortunately for Frost, his best efforts still leave him on seven-over.
Things were better for Tom Watson, who provided a highlight on the par-five 13 when he holed this impressive eagle:
The American finished with a birdie and two pars over the final three holes, ending the day three-over par.
Speaking of an eagle, Jimenez also dropped an eagle at the 13th:
The Spaniard had already started the back nine with consecutive birdies as he bid to keep the pressure on Pavin and Langer at the top. Yet a final-hole bogey kept Jimenez on one-over.
Pavin had leapfrogged Jimenez into second by carding five birdies over the front nine. He recovered from a bogey on the par-four 16 to hole a birdie putt on the final hole and match Frost's low round of 65.
However, keeping pace with Langer proved no easy feat, as the German carded four birdies over the front nine to open a two-shot lead at the turn. He rolled in a par putt to start the back nine and repeated the feat on each of the next four holes, before dropping in a birdie at the 15th.

Pars followed on the 16th and 17th, and Langer finished off with a birdie.
The German looks unstoppable in his bid to win the tournament. While a four-shot lead is not insurmountable for the chasing pack, don't expect too many mistakes from Langer on the final day.
