Liverpool to Launch 'Final Push' for Naby Keita Transfer with Bid over £70M
Liverpool are reportedly set to make a "last-ditch attempt" to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig, with the central midfielder having given instructions to his representatives to get him a move away from his current club.
According to David Maddock in the Mirror, Liverpool are likely to make a bid in the next week in excess of £70 million for the 22-year-old after manager Jurgen Klopp urged the club to "make one final push" for the Guinea international.
The Reds have already had two bids for Keita rejected by Leipzig.
The first was worth £57 million and the second £66 million, while the Bundesliga outfit have told Liverpool he "is not for sale at any price," per MailOnline's Matthew Smith.

However, Klopp is clearly desperate to snap up the talented box-to-box midfielder and is prepared to smash Liverpool's record transfer fee to do so.
The £36.9 million the Reds splurged on Mohamed Salah earlier this summer is currently the most the club have ever spent on a player, per the Guardian's Mark Dobson.
Keita is still a young player, but he has huge amounts of talent and could be the player Liverpool need in their engine room, an area they lack dynamism in.
He is a goalscoring, creative midfielder, whose defensive and attacking acumen are equally valuable, while he is also comfortable with the ball at his feet.
Per WhoScored.com, he made a huge contribution to Leipzig as they finished second in the Bundesliga last term, playing mainly as a defensive midfielder but sometimes in a more advanced role:
The German club have so far been holding firm on not letting him go, but Liverpool are clearly hoping their final bid will prove successful.
