Liverpool Transfer News: Jordan Henderson Comments, Philippe Coutinho Rumours
Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson has said he would welcome further signings this summer, as the Reds prepare for life in the UEFA Champions League.
According to Jack Wilson of the Daily Express, the England international declared his team-mates are confident after last term and will fully serve manager Jurgen Klopp in the season ahead. Henderson said:
"Hopefully we can keep improving. If we do bring in new players, great, because that will strengthen the squad. But whether he brings in new players or not, I feel as though he has a lot of confidence in us and that transcends into how we play. Individually, if you go through the team last year, I feel everyone improved and that is specifically down to the manager. We have a lot good players but you need that when you are going into a season with a lot of games. You need that competition and people fighting for places."

Andy Robertson of Hull City became the latest addition for Klopp after capturing Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke. However, the Reds have failed to sign anyone verging on superstar status.
Liverpool struggled in defence last season, often saved by the class of their attack in tight affairs.
Robertson has proved to be a burgeoning talent, but Klopp is yet to address the pressing issues at centre-back.
In other Reds news, Liverpool want £89 million for Philippe Coutinho if the Brazilian leaves Anfield this summer.

According to Sport (h/t James Dutton of the MailOnline), Klopp will demand the huge fee if his attacking midfielder arrives at Barcelona. The Blaugrana had a £72 million bid rejected for the player but wish to pursue a deal.
The 25-year-old has developed into Liverpool's primary playmaker, scoring 13 goals and creating seven assists in the Premier League last season, according to WhoScored.com.
Coutinho's potential exit would cause Klopp a huge headache as he prepares for next term's heavy schedule.
Liverpool cannot afford to lose the attacker, and they would be considerably weaker upon his exit.
After the capture of their recent signings, the Reds must not sell any of their important players in the coming weeks or they risk dropping out of the top four in the blink of an eye.
