Neymar 'Happy' at Barcelona Amid PSG Transfer Rumours, Says Club Spokesman
Barcelona have insisted Neymar remains "happy" at the club amid ongoing links to Paris Saint-Germain and reports from AS that the French giants are prepared to meet the forward's €222 million (£195.3 million) release clause.
Blaugrana spokesperson Josep Vives made assurances Neymar, 25, will not leave the Camp Nou this summer, per ESPN:
"The only thing we care is he keeps being happy here. He played a magnificent season, and he is still one of the best in the world. He is happy in the club and the club is happy with him. He verbalises it and he shows it with his attitude. We are relaxed about that, and we only hope next season is better than the last one. Neymar's departure is not in club's imagination; the club just thinks of keeping the best players like him, one of our main symbols."
According to AS' report, Neymar's father is set to meet PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi this week to discuss a transfer, and the Ligue 1 club believe Barca's interest in Marco Verratti could facilitate their purchase of the Brazilian.

Meanwhile, Sport recently indicated the former Santos man is unhappy continuing to play second fiddle to Lionel Messi at the Catalan club.
It is not completely unfeasible that Neymar could want a move to PSG in order to become the star man, while the French giants are one of the few clubs with the funds to afford him.
However, the talk coming from Barca should go some way to assuring fans Neymar will not be leaving the club, with sporting director Robert Fernandez having also quashed the rumours of the Brazil international's potential departure, per ESPN.
"That's not going to happen," he said. "We have not had any offers for any player in our squad and no club will pay the release clause."
