Freddie Roach Says Manny Pacquiao Needs Jeffrey Horn Rematch or Retirement
Freddie Roach, the trainer of Manny Pacquiao, says the legendary fighter "got old overnight" and must avenge his loss to Jeffrey Horn or retire from the sport.
"Fight a rematch with Horn, otherwise retire," Roach told TMZ Sports when asked what's next for Pac-Man. "Fighters get old overnight, he did OK in the fight, but just OK, and just OK isn't good enough."

Pacquiao, 38, lost via unanimous decision to Horn on July 2. The bout, held in Horn's home country of Australia, drew some controversy as most fans and experts had Pacquiao winning the fight easily.
The World Boxing Organization released a statement last week saying it would rescore the bout but could not change the judges' decision. The Philippines Games and Amusements Board submitted a request asking the WBO to review the fight.
"I would be very grateful if the GAB can provide any evidence indicating fraud or violation of law," WBO president Francisco Valcarcel said, per the Associated Press (via the Los Angeles Times). "The purpose of this review is to be able to give the fans certainty of who was the winner of the bout, even though we do not have the power to reverse the decision of the judges."
Five anonymous judges chosen by the WBO will review the bout.
"We're happy with that," GAB chairman Abraham Kahlil Mitra said. "Our feeling is, if you're quiet, you'll get abused, but if you complain, they'll be careful. Manny is a senator, a champion, but was like wrestled there, abused by them. If it can be done to him, it can be done to any other Filipino boxer."
Pacquiao can trigger a rematch clause in his contract to fight Horn again if he so chooses.
