USA vs. Nicaragua: Time, Live-Stream and TV Schedule for 2017 Gold Cup
The U.S. men's national team needed a 76th-minute Jordan Morris goal in order to down minnows Martinique 3-2 in their second Group B game of the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup on Wednesday.
It was a laboured performance from Bruce Arena's USMNT as they squandered a two-goal lead before Morris' second strike of the game earned them all three points.
Added to the 1-1 draw they earned against Panama in their tournament opener, though, it means the United States are in a fine position to qualify top of their group for the quarter-finals.
A victory over Nicaragua at Cleveland's FirstEnergy Stadium on Saturday would guarantee a spot in the knockout rounds and provide much-needed momentum after a scare against Martinique.

Per Fox Soccer, the USMNT are only top of their group on goals scored, ahead of Panama:
Panama face Martinique in their final group game before the United States kick off on Saturday, so Arena's men will know what they need to do to top the group.
But the intention will have to be to claim a convincing win, as the U.S. have yet to put in a decent performance in the tournament so far.
And Nicaragua have not shown any kind of form themselves, losing 2-0 to Martinique and then 2-1 to Panama.
Nicaragua have no chance of qualifying for the knockout rounds, but they could still be dangerous as they attempt to finish the tournament with a major scalp.
An early goal would settle the nerves for the tournament hosts, and Morris will likely be looked to again to provide the killer blow given he is in fine form.
He was in the right place to sweep home the winner against Martinique, per CONCACAF:
The 22-year-old's finishing touch could again prove valuable.
However, the United States defence also needs to be much improved.
Against Martinique, they were cruising when 2-0 up after 64 minutes, but a quickfire double from Kevin Parsemain put the match back in the balance.
If the U.S. can earn an early lead against Nicaragua, they have to be confident of keeping hold of it.
A mature performance is needed from the USMNT on Saturday, and only a victory will be satisfactory, even if they find themselves in a position where a draw would be enough to qualify.
