Pep Guardiola 'Livid' with Dani Alves' Manchester City Snub After PSG Medical
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly been left "livid" and "furious" after Dani Alves opted for a move to Paris Saint-Germain over an already-agreed switch to the Etihad Stadium.
According to Sam Lee of Goal, the Brazilian's move to City on a two-year deal was all but sealed after he had been released from his Juventus contract, but he is now on the verge of joining PSG after undergoing a medical with the French club.
Lee added right-back Alves, 34, agreed a deal with City more than two weeks ago and that the Manchester club were still expecting him to join them until news emerged of his medical with the Ligue 1 side.

The Daily Mail's Jack Gaughan described Guardiola as "seething" over the former Barcelona player's change of heart, as Alves had been the Spanish manager's primary right-back target.
Gaughan added Guardiola was "convinced" he would reunite with Alves after their successes together at Barca, with the defender expected at City this week with only formalities left to complete.
L'Equipe (via French football writer Jonathan Johnson) provided details of the package Alves will receive at PSG:
City are now back to square one in their search for a new right-back.
As Gaughan noted, Tottenham Hotspur will now be in a stronger position to negotiate with City over the sale of Kyle Walker, who had already been valued at around £50 million.
