Additionally, actors Dove Cameron, Bryan Cranston, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen, Issa Rae and Jeremy Renner are scheduled to appear.

ESPN also announced Monday that former first lady Michelle Obama will honor late Special Olympics founder Eunice Kennedy Shriver, who died in 2009.

Obama will present the Arthur Ashe Courage Award to Shriver's son, Timothy Shriver.

Regarding the presentation, Obama discussed her pride in honoring Shriver as part of a statement:

"Eunice Kennedy Shriver was a passionate champion for those with developmental challenges, empowering them to fulfill their highest potential. Her work to promote inclusion and acceptance transformed the lives of countless young athletes and inspired us all. I am incredibly honored to present this award to her son to celebrate her life's work."

The 62-year-old Berman is one of the most recognizable personalities in ESPN's history, and although he has taken a step back in terms of his schedule, he remains with the company.

George won the Heisman Trophy at Ohio State and went on to play nine NFL seasons with the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans franchise and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a four-time Pro Bowler who registered 10,441 rushing yards and 86 touchdowns during his career.

Ogwumike is a three-time WNBA All-Star, the reigning league MVP and a WNBA champion averaging 19.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game this season.

Patrick is the most recognizable female drivers in motorsports, having spent parts of the past eight years in NASCAR after a successful IndyCar run that included a landmark victory for a female driver.

The ESPYs will be televised Wednesday on ABC starting at 8 p.m. ET with former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning serving as the host.
