Greenbrier Classic 2017: Sebastian Munoz Mantains Lead After Round 2
Sebastian Munoz maintained a stranglehold on the lead at the Greenbrier Classic on Friday by shooting a three-under 67.
Combined with his first-round 61, Munoz is now 12 under for the tournament and will enter the weekend at The Old White TPC in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, three shots clear of the field.
Davis Love III, Russell Henley and Ben Martin are among those chasing Munoz with moving day on deck:

Largely an unknown on the PGA Tour, Munoz made a name for himself in 2016 on the Web.com Tour before he earned his card on the premiere circuit.
Now firmly in the lead through 36 holes, Munoz is looking like a real threat to take home his first PGA Tour win if he can keep things rolling.
On Friday, the 24-year-old started off his round with four birdies on a clean back nine to make the turn at 13 under thanks to a slew of big putts, as the PGA Tour documented on Twitter:
Munoz encountered a couple hiccups on the front nine when he made bogeys on Nos. 3 and 6, but a birdie on the par-four seventh pushed him back to 12 under overall.
PGATour.com's Sean Martin pointed to Munoz's stellar work with the flatstick for his ability to stay atop the leaderboard:
Once his second round was in the books, Munoz reflected on his round and took pride in his ability to thrive on the greens:
A couple spots down the leaderboard, Love III continued to score at rates that kept him in the race for the Greenbrier title.
Although his card was littered with five bogeys, the 53-year-old maintained his composure and poured in six birdies to make a deeper run into red figures.
Golf Channel provided a look at Love III's most memorable approach from an up-and-down round:
The 1997 PGA Championship winner will have to clean things up a bit if he wants to close the gap on Munoz, but he's comfortably in position to secure his first top-10 of the season after missing the cut at his last four PGA Tour starts.
Finally, there's Russell Henley—who bolted into contention with a six-under 64, which was a welcome sight after he shot two-under on Thursday.
Henley's front nine included four birdies and a bogey, including a tap-in birdie at No. 9 following a nifty approach shot:
Henley tacked on three birdies on the back and is now within striking distance of his second win of the season after he came out on top at the Shell Houston Open in early April.
