Jonathan Isaac to Miss Rest of Magic's Orlando Summer League with Hip Injury
Orlando Magic rookie forward Jonathan Isaac will sit out the team's final two Orlando Summer League games to recover from a strained left hip.
The Magic announced the decision, which they called a "precaution," Tuesday. The organization noted an MRI performed on the ailment showed "no other structural issues."
Orlando made Isaac the sixth overall pick in last month's 2017 NBA draft.

The 19-year-old Florida State product averaged 12.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.2 steals across 32 games during his only season with the Seminoles.
He showcased some serious promise across three Summer League outings before the injury. He checked in at 10.3 points and 8.0 rebounds in 22 minutes per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the field.
Fran Blinebury of NBA.com passed along comments Monday from Magic summer league coach Chad Forcier about what the franchise saw from the first-year player before the injury setback.
"We're absolutely thrilled," Forcier said. "He's met all the expectations, actually exceeded the expectations. He got off to a great start today and it was disappointing that he got the bump. We wanted to be smart about it, but it would have been nice to watch him keep going today in terms of the start that he got off to."
Isaac should be ready to roll by the time the Magic open training camp barring any setbacks. He'll battle the likes of Aaron Gordon, Terrence Ross and Mario Hezonja for frontcourt minutes as a rookie.
