The red brand will also have to round out the Great Balls of Fire card. The Realest Guys in the Room, the two men who once formed The Golden Truth and the tag champs Cesaro and Sheamus don't yet have official bouts.
What's in store for the go-home edition of Raw? Digging into social media updates, backstage news and the Raw preview on WWE.com answers that question before the show airs on Monday at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network.
News, Potential Spoilers
Fans have been waiting for Matt Hardy to start playing the same unhinged, maniacal version of his character he thrived with on Impact Wrestling since he and his brother Jeff returned to WWE. A legal battle has kept that from happening.
Matt, though, teased the return of his "broken" gimmick on Twitter:
The Bray Wyatt-Seth Rollins story may soon take a strange direction. According to PWInsider.com (h/t Marc Middleton of Wrestling Inc) a child actor played a young Bray Wyatt in recent material filmed for WWE.
It looks as if we may soon see more of Wyatt's backstory in that case.
And as expected, the little-seen Lesnar will make an appearance as part of the PPV build. ProWrestling.net's Jason Powell noted: "Brock Lesnar is once again advertised."
Raw Streaks
Neville took down Lince Dorado on last Monday's Raw to continue his dominance over the cruiserweight division.
The victory over Dorado marked Neville's fourth win in a row, per CageMatch.net. He is now 17-1 in one-on-one bouts in 2017 with that sole loss coming via disqualification.
Too often, WWE has its midcard champs bleed momentum by losing in non-title action. That's been far from the case with Neville, who has looked like an unstoppable force.
Dean Ambrose can't claim the same thing. His record has worsened of late, with his defeats piling up since he dropped the Intercontinental Championship.
On the latest Raw, Ambrose fell to The Miz, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel in six-man tag team action. Per CageMatch.net, that was his third consecutive loss. And he went 1-6 in the last two months.
The Lunatic Fringe is in danger of those numbers worsening as he wraps up his feud with The Miz, who now has an entourage in his corner.
Last Leg of Great Balls of Fire Build
Sasha Banks outlasted the competition in a Gauntlet match last Monday to become the No. 1 contender for the Raw Women's Championship.
Foreshadowing suggests that Nia Jax will eventually get her hands on Bliss, but for now, it's Banks' turn to go after Alexa Bliss. Those two will clash for the title at Great Balls of Fire.
WWE doesn't have much time at all to build toward this. The Boss and Bliss have to create a memorable moment in a hurry before their PPV bout arrives.
Since recovering from elbow surgery a few weeks back, Strowman has been busy making moments of his own. He has gone after his old rival Reigns with the same viciousness that made him the heart of Raw early in the year.
After suffering a chokeslam and getting hurled into the side of an ambulance, Reigns has to have vengeance on his mind. The WWE.com Raw preview teased that he go after Strowman for his pound of flesh: "Reigns is out for retribution. How will The Big Dog retaliate?"
Enzo Amore has reason to seek revenge, as well.
His best friend and tag team partner Big Cass turned on him two weeks ago. And on the latest Raw, Big Cass faked a reunion, only to throttle Amore again.
There is no match announced between these two yet. One has to imagine, though, a heated clash between them is on the way.
Monday's Raw promises to advance this story whether Amore and Big Cass meet at Great Balls of Fire or WWE saves it for SummerSlam on August 20. The WWE.com Raw preview asked: "What will be Enzo's next move after yet another heart-wrenching betrayal?"
In addition, the red brand is sure to focus plenty on the intensifying feud between Joe and Lesnar.
Their issues have gone well beyond the Universal Championship. The Destroyer has made sure of that. He flattened Lesnar with a kick to the jaw in the midst of their pull-apart brawl. And last week, Joe ambushed The Beast Incarnate and brought him to his knees with a Coquina Clutch.
Will Joe maintain a chokehold on this rivalry or will we see Lesnar even things out in Phoenix?
The Samoan Submission Machine has looked tremendous in this story so far. He'll look to continue his momentum as WWE continues its hard sell of Great Balls of Fire.
Thanks to Strowman and Reigns, Joe and Lesnar, Monday's Raw should be flush with fury and a showcase for the brand's hosses.
