Carmella Wins 2nd WWE Money in the Bank Women's Ladder Match on SmackDown
Carmella won the women's Money in the Bank ladder match Tuesday night on SmackDown Live in a rematch of June 18's bout at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
Each of the women seemingly had the match won at various points, only to fall just short in a number of near finishes. Carmella took a steel chair to the back of Becky Lynch to once again force her to fall short of becoming the first women's Money in the Bank winner.

The first women's Money in the Bank ladder match in WWE history ended in controversy when James Ellsworth climbed the ladder, unhooked the briefcase and dropped it into Carmella's welcoming arms.
Ellsworth attempted to pull off the feat again Tuesday but was pushed off the ladder by Lynch, who appeared to have the match won before falling short.
There was a great deal of backlash on social media following the bout, but the Princess of Staten Island explained that anything goes in a Money in the Bank ladder match, according to WWE Universe on Twitter:
Despite Carmella's assertion, SmackDown Live general manager Daniel Bryan was forced to make a decision regarding the legality and fairness of her win.
He eventually came to the decision that due to the unprecedented manner in which she won, a change needed to be made in the form of stripping Carmella of the Money in the Bank contract and putting it back on the line in a rematch.
In addition to that, Bryan banned Ellsworth from ringside in an effort to ensure there would be no similar shenanigans in the second women's Money in the Bank ladder match.
Following Bryan's announcement, Ellsworth expressed his belief that the GM made a heavy-handed and unfair move:
Regardless of that, SmackDown's women received another opportunity to steal the show and vie for one of the most prestigious titles in the history of the women's division: Ms. Money in the Bank.
Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Tamina and Natalya all asked Bryan for a second chance due to the circumstances surrounding Carmella's win, and they looked to make the most of it.
All five women involved put their bodies on the line at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, and doing it again just over one week later was no small feat.
Since the match at Money in the Bank was only around 13 minutes long, however, the Superstars left something in the tank and had plenty of tricks and spots in reserve for Tuesday's contest.
Many questioned if Carmella was capable of getting the job done on her own, but now that she has, she can herald herself as the two-time Ms. Money in the Bank and may come to the realization that she doesn't need Ellsworth by her side moving forward.
