Oklahoma Safety Will Sunderland Charged with Felony Burglary
University of Oklahoma safety Will Sunderland has been charged with felony burglary on Wednesday.
Per Ryan Aber of the Oklahoman, the charge against Sunderland came after a warrant was issued for his arrest and is "likely related to the same case that spawned Sunderland's misdemeanor charge from earlier in the week."
Aber noted Sunderland was charged on Wednesday for allegedly stealing multiple video game systems and other items from two Oklahoma baseball players that he later sold to an electronic store for $499.50.
Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley announced on Monday that Sunderland had been indefinitely suspended following a warrant for concealing stolen property was issued, per Brady Vardeman of the Dallas Morning News.
Sunderland appeared in eight games for the Sooners over his first two seasons with the team and recorded his first career interception in a 45-40 win over Texas on Oct. 8, 2016.
