Randy Moss Gets Emotional Discussing Former Coach Dennis Green
Earlier this week, the Minnesota Vikings announced they'll induct wide receivers Randy Moss and Ahmad Rashad into the team's Ring of Honor later this year.
On Wednesday, Moss spoke about Dennis Green, the former Minnesota head coach who took a chance on him when the wideout fell in the first round of the 1998 NFL draft and who sadly died in July 2016.
The 40-year-old former player became emotional when asked what he would say to Green if able to chat with his former coach and mentor today.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"On draft day," Moss began to explain after wiping tears from his eyes, "I really don't know why I was treated the way I was treated on draft day, but Coach Green gave me an opportunity, man, and I told him 'Coach, you're not going to regret this.'
"So you asked me what I would say to him? Man, I would probably just fall in his arms and give him a hug. There's no words I could tell him."
Green and the Vikings acquired Moss with the 21st overall pick of that draft, and the rest, as the saying goes, is history.
